WTSBT was founded as a non-profit all volunteer organization in 2022 and continues to be run by all volunteers. We are excited to have a Student Angler Federation youth bass fishing trail in West Tennessee. The goal of WTSBT is to provide interested youth with the opportunity to learn and grow in a sport they love.
Teams consist of two youth anglers and one boat captain. We love to see the elders of our sport pass on years of knowledge to the next generation of Bass Fisherman.
We host Six tournaments throughout the school year and participate in the TBF/SAF State Championship in the spring. Plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division, a Biggest Bass Plaque, money (payouts based on the number of participants each tournament), prizes, and giveaways are given out at every event. Valuable points are earned at every tournament, the top teams in points have the opportunity to represent WTSBT at High School Nationals / World Championship and the Junior World Championship each year. Each tournament has a High School and a Juniors Division.
We encourage all families, friends, and local community to come out to the National Anthem, Prayer, and Blast Off each tournament morning and the afternoon Weigh-Ins/Awards each tournament day. Bring a tent and some chairs and enjoy they day.
During the mid-day, check out the local shopping, parks, eateries and everything else the Tennessee River region has to offer. Then come back to see how your favorite Boat finished!
